The Commute to Work (B1)

Учебный текст на английском · уровень B1 · 194 слов · сгенерирован в CN-Reader

Every morning, I leave my house at 7:30 to go to work. I walk to the bus stop, which takes about five minutes. Sometimes it rains, so I bring an umbrella. The bus usually arrives on time, but if it's late, I get worried about being late for work.

I take the bus for 20 minutes to the city center. During the ride, I listen to music or read a book. Many people do the same, but some just look at their phones. The bus can get very crowded, especially when students are going to school.

After getting off the bus, I walk another ten minutes to my office. I pass by a small park and sometimes see dogs playing there. If I have time, I stop to buy coffee at a café near my workplace. My colleagues often do the same, so we sometimes meet there in the morning.

In the evening, I take the same route home. The bus is less crowded then, and I can usually find a seat. I like looking out the window at the city lights. When I get home, I feel tired but happy that the workday is over.
