Long ago, in a kingdom where storms ruled the skies, there lived a wise oracle named Elara. She dwelled high in the mountains, where lightning danced around her tower like playful spirits. The people feared the Thunder Lord’s wrath, but Elara understood his language—the rumble of clouds, the flash of light. Kings and peasants alike sought her advice, for she could read the future in the storm’s fury.
One day, a young farmer named Kael climbed the treacherous path to her tower. His village was starving, their crops ruined by endless rain. 'Oracle,' he begged, 'how do we appease the Thunder Lord?' Elara closed her eyes, listening to the wind’s whisper. 'He does not want your fear,' she said at last. 'He wants your courage.'
Puzzled, Kael returned to his village and told the elders the oracle’s words. That night, as lightning split the sky, the villagers did not hide. Instead, they drummed and sang, their voices rising like thunder. To their amazement, the storm began to fade. By dawn, the clouds parted, revealing golden sunlight.
When Kael returned to thank Elara, her tower stood empty—only a single feather from a storm eagle remained. Some say she became the wind itself, while others believe she taught the Thunder Lord the language of human hearts. But to this day, when storms grow fierce, villagers still drum and sing... and the sky always answers.
